This is our section for frequently asked questions  for Transfer Services.

1. Before you travel

What luggage entitlement will I have?

Each passenger may carry free of charge the following luggage per vehicle :

1)For taxis – vip cars ( max 4 passengers ) 1 luggage of 15-30 kg, 1-2 small hand bags.)
2)For minivans (max 8 passengers ) 1 luggage of 15-30 kg, 1-2 small hand bags.
3)For minibusses (max 22 passengers ) , 1 luggage of 15-30 kg, 1-2 small hand bags.
4)For busses ( max 53 passengers ) , 1 luggage of 15-30 kg, 1-2 small hand bags.

In case you have more luggage than the allowed ones,then you must check the special items during your booking for the charges and to declare all luggage-items in order to help us for better allocation of them in the vehicle.

Where will I meet the driver when I arrive?

Your driver will come to pick you up at your desired destination. If your transfer starts at the airport, your driver will wait for you at the check-out exit holding a tag with your name on it.

What happens if I can’t locate my driver?

If you can’t locate your transfer driver, you can call him in his mobile or in our office +302721090900 or by email info@transferservices.gr.

My group size has changed, can I choose another vehicle?

If your group size has been changed , you must inform us in order to change the type of vehicle , the rate of vehicle ( shared or private).
All passengers must be seated !!

2.Process of booking

How do I make a booking on your website?

You can complete your booking on-line by using the displayed booking form on Transferservices website. Just choose the date, your start-finish points and follow the link. The link will show you the type of vehicles and the prices of the transfer in one way and the price for a round trip.

If your destination is not listed we can send you a custom route and full instructions should you wish to book.

What information do I need in order to book?

You need to give to our system the “Departure day & time, Pick-up location,Drop-off location,number of passengers, your arrival & departure details, your personal data as mentioned in the site , financial data.

I cannot find a route I want to book. What to do?

If you have any enquiry about your transfer that is not listed in our site then you may simply get in touch and we will get back to you as soon as possible in the rate and more clarifications.

Can I book a transfer with more than one stop?

Transfer services offers you not only transfer services but also excursions and tours all over Greece. The tours can be organized with a driver only or with a guide. Tours can also be fixed or custom made upon your preferences.

How long will the transfer take?

The times quoted are the standard journey times on a normal day. These times may alter slightly in high season when there is more traffic or road works affect the direct route of the journey. You will be notified if there is any anticipated delay to your journey.

Must all bookings be made in advance ?

We would strongly advise booking in advance. Once your booking has been made a vehicle is reserved and we guarantee availability. Last minute bookings however can be accommodated if the vehicle or a space at the shared transfer is available.

What type of vehicle can I choose ?

You can choose a standard or luxury vip car or taxi (4 persons) , minivan (8 persons), minibus (20-22 persons), bus (32 persons) or a bus 2 (50-53 persons).

Why is it better to book a prebooked transfer than a regular taxi ?

Transfer Services offers transfers under fixed rates so that you know your expenses in advance and the price doesn’t depend on the conditions on the route or the traffic. Besides convenient and fixed prices, with Transfer Services you don’t have to waste time looking for transportation.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

Your driver will at all times be informed about your flight details and will collect you at the new time.If the the delay is more than 2 hours then you will be charge per extra hour per vehicle after the first 2hours of delay.Payment can be made on the spot directly to your driver.You can see the extra cost in our web site at extra items during your booking request.

Do I have extra charges in the case the driver has to wait for me because of the delayed flight?

In case your flight is delayed, the driver will be aware of the new schedule and will wait for you as previously mentioned. We do not charge extra the waiting of the driver in this case.

The number of my credit card is correct but it was declined. Why?

There are several possibilities why your card was declined:

– Expiry date of the card is set before the date of booking
– You have reached your credit limit

Can I make a reservation with someone else’s credit card?

If you do not have a credit card, you can specify a different card with the permission of the person whose name you will type as the name of the owner.

3.Reservation Confirmation

How can I be sure that my reservation has been confirmed?

Upon reservation you will receive a message that your reservation is in the process and after the process has been completed, you will receive a notification about the status of your reservation. Processing can take up to a maximum of 24 hours. Reservations are confirmed only after you receive a confirmation e-mail for the provided service for your transfer shared or private !!

I finished my booking, but I haven’t received a confirmation, what should I do?

Once you have entered all the data required for submission of reservation, your request is processed, and processing may take up to 24 hours. Reservations are confirmed only after you receive a confirmation via e-mail. Please enter the e-mail address carefully so that you may receive the confirmation. If you do not receive your confirmation, review the Spam folder, if it still is not there, please contact us.

What happens if I lose my voucher?

In the case you lose your voucher simply contact Transfer Services customer support T.+302721090900 or e-mail info@transferservices.gr and you will be provided with another one.

What kind of insurance do I have during the transfer?

Both you and your luggage are insured during your transfer with Transfer Services but we recommend that you have an extra insurance for the entire trip.

4.Payment of transfer

When and to whom do I pay for the transfer?

Payment of the transfer depends on the conditions listed when booking. Standard is that we charge 40 % from your account and rest is payable to the driver.

Can I complete my booking without a credit card?

You have the option of paying via foreign currency transfers when booking if you choose this option. After booking, our operators will send you an offer. Depending on the country and the bank with which you make your payment, transfer of these funds may take up to a week. It is vital that you send via fax or e-mail the bank confirmation of payment, because otherwise we can not guarantee your reservation.

Is my credit card safe when booking?

Your credit card data provide a guarantee of your reservation, or are necessary for a payment in advance, depending on the terms and conditions of the selected transfer, as expressed in the transfer offer next to the transfer prices, and on the certificate you will receive after booking. To protect data from your credit card we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology and your data is completely safe. In the case of fraud and abuse of your credit card by a third party, most banks and credit card companies bear the risk and cover all costs arising from the abuse. In accordance with our high ethical standards we respect your privacy. We are committed that your name, address, e-mail address and credit card information required for booking will not be disclosed to a third party without your consent.

What does the price include?

A one-way price will include a single journey from your arrival point to your destination per private or shared vehicle.

Are transfer prices per person or per vehicle?

The transfer prices are always per private vehicle if you want to hire it and per person if you want to share it with other passengers, and the type of vehicle is determined by the number of passengers.

In case of sharing the vehicle there is a minimum of passengers per vehicle as following :
1)For taxis – vip cars ( min 3 passengers ).
2)For minivans (min 6 passengers ).
3)For minibusses (min 15 passengers ).
4)For busses ( min 35 passengers ).

In case of less participation for a specific booking and transfer “Transfer Services” has the right to change or to cancel the reservation of the passenger with a written notice or e-mail by offering an ideal solution for passenger.

How do I pay for my transfer?

All credit cards , PayPal , bank transfers are accepted. You can pay the whole amount before your arrival or you will be charged 40 % of the total amount of the transfer price on the day of booking and the amount will be charged from your given credit card, while the rest of the amount (60 %) will be payed in cash to the driver.

What are the references of my driver?

The drivers of Transfer Services are professionals with long term experience in passenger transport services and will be prepared for your transfer with a fixed itinerary.

Does my fare include a tip?

No. Giving a tip is discretionary and completely up to you.

I need a receipt for my journey, when do I get a receipt?

If you pre-pay using a debit or credit card we can send you a receipt and incoice via email.

5.Change and cancellation of reservation

Can I cancel my reservation?

If you want to change or cancel a reservation, please follow the instructions you received in the confirmation via e-mail. Keep in mind that according to the notice period, a part or the total booking amount can be charged. We suggest that you carefully read the cancellation policy when booking.

When can I be sure that my reservation has been successfully canceled?

After the request for cancellation you will receive confirmation of cancellation via e-mail. In case that you don’t receive confirmation of cancellation on time, please check your Spam folder.

6.Additional Requirements

Will I be charged extra if I have a lot of luggage?

We do not charge extra the luggage of the passengers and you will be helped by the driver with its placement in the vehicle. Each passenger may carry free of charge the following luggage per vehicle :

What if my transfer includes a child or children?

Children until 12 years are not allowed to travel without their parents. Children between 12-18 years must have an authorized statement from their parents. If your transfer requires a infant/baby/child seat, please notify us on our booking system.

Do you provide transfer for disabled people?

No, we donot provide transfer services for the disabled people, but make sure you notify us on time in order to find a solution.

Can I book not only a transfer but also a tour with Transfer Services?

Transfer Services offers you not only transfer services but also excursions and tours all over Greece. The tours can be organized with a driver only or with a guide. Tours can also be fixed or custom made upon your preferences.

Is smoking allowed in the vehicle during the transfer?

No, smoking isn’t allowed in the vehicle during the transfer.

Is the transfer direct or do we stop along the way?

Transfer services operates door-to-door leading you directly to your desired destination unless arranged otherwise.

Can I carry pets in the transfer vehicle?

It is possible to provide transportation of pets, but only if they are properly placed in their travel boxes and put in the luggage department of the vehicle.

I cannot find answer to my questions, what should I do?
